Very disappointing experience. We booked an airport transfer with this company on behalf of one of our clients. Before confirming the service, we clearly explained that our client wanted to arrive at the airport around 9:40 a.m. and asked them what pickup time they recommended. They advised an 8:30 a.m. pickup, even though the journey to the airport is only around 20–30 minutes. When our client realised how close the airport actually was, he left the hotel at around 9:10 a.m. and departed at approximately 9:15–9:20 a.m., arriving at the airport without any issue at 9:50am. The disappointing part is that the company then charged us €100 for one hour of waiting time, even though the unnecessary waiting was entirely the result of their own recommendation. They immediately sent us a payment link and told us that if we didn’t pay, they would ask our client to pay directly. As the booking agent, we had already confirmed that we would cover any legitimate charges, so involving the client was completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, the communication from the manager/owner was rude and aggressive instead of trying to resolve the situation. We expected professionalism and fair treatment, but unfortunately experienced the opposite. Based on this experience, we would not recommend this company.

Marcella provided my small group in Italy with an unforgettable afternoon in Tuscany. He took us to a small vineyard with excellent wine, food and scenery. I knew when I booked a few weeks before our travel date and they still had availability when others did not that this was too good to be true. I wish I listened to my initiation. Mundo is not unreliable. Marcello, the owner, is arrogant, combative, incapable of taking accountability  and extremely unprofessional. There’s thousands of transfer companies in Florence and the surrounding area - don’t make the mistake I did by choosing Mundo. I booked a transfer for my elderly parents from our wedding venue to the train station. I provided Marcello with my contact details, filled out his form with my credit card information and received a confirmation email from him, which I acknowledged. On the morning of the transfer, I called Marcello 15 minutes after his car was supposed to arrive and instead of even taking time to understand the situation, he immediately launched into the defensive, accusing me of never confirming nor sending my credit card information. I texted him screenshots of our email exchanges during the call where I explicitly sent my credit card details and he emailed back “I hereby confirm that your service is booked”, to which I responded “Thank you”. It’s fine. People make mistakes. Companies make mistakes. However, instead of accepting responsibility and offering me a solution proactively, Marcello chose to try to intimidate and attack me. He repeated over and over again that it was my “fault” for not confirming, and how can I expect a car for not confirming, it is not his problem and I am extremely rude to expect otherwise. We initially buffered 2 hours for my parents to make their train in Florence for their flight back to Asia, but having to sort this out and find alternate transportation last minute meant that they very narrowly missed their train. We ended up ordering a taxi via the Borgo we were staying at, which charged us 100 euros less than Marcello tried to. As travelers all we want is reliability, professionalism and to feel safe while traveling in a foreign country. Marcello behaved extremely arrogantly - he could’ve turned the situation around but instead leaned into his big ego and chose to gaslight the customer. Don’t take the risk like I did and leave your elderly parents stranded in the middle of Tuscany. Mundo is not worth it. See screenshots for receipts and how he tried to gaslight me. Circled and attached was the credit card form that I filled out 6 days before, which he responded with a confirmation. Mind blowing that he thinks it’s ok to do business this way.

Operator did not show up after a wedding to transfer the bride’s parents back to Florence. We had a paper trail of the pickup confirmation but alas Mundo Tours was a no show and we had to struggle to get the elderly parents back to Florence to catch their  train to Milan. Avoid this company at all costs
